COMMUNITY WORK PROGRAMME
- providing /supplementing the
- educational activities
- medical services
- services providing care
to elderly, persons with visual or hearing impairment, persons with physical, mental and/or combined disabilities, persons with no material means, children and other beneficiaries by providing day care services at a day care centre or at their homes, assistance in kind with donations and other types of care.
- supplementing the human capital in certain institutions / organisations
- when introducing a new system for providing services – a day care centre for persons with certain kind of disability, elderly and other beneficiaries, foster centres, accommodation homes, etc.
- expending their scope of services provided to elderly, persons with visual or hearing impairment, persons with physical, mental and/or combined disabilities, persons with no material means, children and other beneficiaries
- by providing additional information on exercising certain rights, assistance in applying, submitting documents, completing documents, etc.)
- greater care for the environment (informing the citizens about the benefits for using adequate preparations for protecting agricultural / fruit cultures and the health benefits consequently, informing them about the benefits from proper use of water resources, etc.)
- municipality development and other (information about new methods, services, institutions, plans and development strategies provided to the citizens of the municipality)
The benefits for the municipality are:
- engaging into and ensuring social inclusion for persons who have hard time entering into the labour market by getting part-time jobs in order to acquire certain skills
- increasing the number of social services that are offered based on the needs of the population
- helping the citizens on the territory of the local self-government by providing social services
