    Since 2007 27,500 people have applied for the Employment Programme. A total of 8,730 businesses have been created, 35% of the initiatives are run by women entrepreneurs and 31% by young people aged up to 29 years. Significant number of businesses created by the Self-employment Programme have grown and the biggest 120 companies employ around 1.000 persons
